
Kevin Callahan
Business Executive, CSR Leader, Advisor
Background
Kevin is the former Vice President, Social Responsibility for The Walt Disney Company, where he managed global philanthropy, employee volunteerism, and CSR initiatives. He is an advocate for responsible business practices that address critical societal issues, while simultaneously promoting companies’ growth and competitive advantage. During his tenure at Disney, he worked on social programs related to global business projects, including the successful opening of Shanghai Disneyland Park, and he developed high-impact programs with non-profit organizations to strengthen communities and promote environmental conservation. Kevin’s experience includes CSR, government and industry relations, issues management, and stakeholder relations at Disney, Abbott, and Altria. He served as head of the Spain-US Chamber of Commerce in New York, where he promoted trade and tourism between the two countries. He is an ESG Center Fellow at The Conference Board, a business membership organization, where he works to advance ESG and CSR practices with major corporations, and he serves as an advisor to companies and non-profit organizations on community investment strategies.
Teaching Experience
Kevin has been a member of the Boston College Center for Corporate Citizenship and is an occasional guest speaker on CSR topics at the Simon Business School at the University of Rochester.
